In the teaching of electronic circuit course in secodary vocational school,the traditional teaching mode and means cannot meet the requirement of modem education. The rapid development of computer and EDA technology is helpful for us to change the traditional teaching mode. Multisim simulation software, a kind of EDA software based on SPICE Industry Standard, was developed by Canada Interactive Image Technologies Company. Form Multisim 2001 to Multisim7 and Multisim8 is end. Multisim9 and current MultisimlO promote by America NI Company.Being fast and accurate in simulation analysis of circuit on computer. It can directly, quickly show teaching content, so that students can understand deeply the course material by the circuit parameters and the corresponding simulation results, and students can participate teaching and learning in the interactive way, thus making a good teaching result. Using Multisim to build simulation circuit, creating virtual experimental environment in teaching of classroom, and using a teaching mode of combination of theory and practice, can solve the problems of traditional teaching mode. In recent years, in electronic teaching has been widely used.This paper mainly analyzes current situation of learning and teaching methods, from Constructivism Theory, Discovery Learning Theory, Information processing theory And learning by doing teaching method, information technology integration method, probes into the new learning and teaching mode of electronic circuit course based on Multisim software to adapt to the current occupation education requirements. Puts forward learning by doing teaching method usingmultisim software in electronic circuit course, presents the corresponding teaching design case.It is applied in actual teaching, analyzs the students'learning interest, learning achievement and operating ability by comparing the teaching effect of the traditional class and test class and questionnaire method.This thesis is divided into six parts. The first part provides the research background, which presents the current teaching and learning situation of electronic circuits course introduces the adopted Multisim simulation software; analyzes domestic and foreign research present situation, research objectives, research content as well as research methods.The second part gives an introduction of the theories foundation adopted in the reseaching which are Constructivism learning and Discovery Learning Theory and Information Technology And Course Combine as well as learning by doing teaching method. The third part studys learning by doing teaching pattern based on multisim software,main including guiding ideology, function goal, pattern structure,pattem strategy and implementation safeguard. In the fourth part, the author applys the teaching pattern of learning by doingand gives teaching design example of DC Power Supply based on Multisim software. The fifth part:analyze the actual teaching effect in this way.The sixth part:summarize and prospect learning by doing teaching mode Based on the Multisim of electronic circuit course.
