Higher vocational colleges as an important part of our country’s higher vocationaleducation, it is the important place to improve students’ expertise and skills. As thecountry’s emphasis on higher vocational colleges and students enrollment increasing,how to improve the teachers’ aggressiveness that participate in teaching, it has becomethe common considering problem, under the new situation of teachers’ positionrecruitment system, it is imminent that exploring teachers’ performance appraisalmanagement. The thesis as topic of the design and implementation of higher vocationalcollege teacher performance appraisal system, it develops the research work, as todevelop a suitable teacher performance appraisal system for higherThe design and implementation of higher vocational teachers’ performanceappraisal system has been introduced in this thesis, firstly the author introduces thesubject research situation at home and abroad, and summarizes the related technologiesof the research, and then deeply discusses the system demand indicators, on this basis,the author introduces the plan of system design and database design, finally the detaileddesign and implementation process of the function modules is discussed, and the systemtest and validation scheme is presented. The teacher performance appraisal system isdiscussed in the thesis, which follows the method and principle of software engineeringin the development process, uses the current popular Asp.Net technology, adopts C#asthe programming development language, database management system using MicrosoftSQL Server2005, build project development environment based on Visual Studio2008.The system mainly includes three kinds of user module such as the average user。Theuser modules of this system are divided into three kinds that include normal users,department heads and administrators. Ordinary users in the system is mainly tocomplete the personal information editor, personal information query, modify personalaccount information, and other functions; department heads are responsible for specificwork of performance management in the system, including these business functionssuch as teacher performance audit, department information audit, organizationevaluation, etc.; administrator is responsible for maintaining the basic data of system, they can perform the business of setting index permissions, database maintenance,notify announcement, performance information query, etc. Trough the division andcooperation of the three kinds, it can realize the automation of performance appraisal.At the later of the performance appraisal system development, it is verified by thecombination of white box testing and black box testing, it ensures that each function andeach performance indicator has meet the user’ requirements.The higher vocational teachers’ performance appraisal system is discussed in thethesis that adopts a multi-layer system structure, which can achieve the independent ofthe modules at the maximum extent, effectively improve the flexibility and extensibilityof the system. At present, the teachers’ performance appraisal system has been runningin Shanxi Vocational and Technical College of Coal,the practice has proved that systemdevelopment not only changes the artificial management way of teachers’ performanceappraisal, realizes the paperless and automation of performance appraisal, but alsoeffectively avoid the unreasonable phenomenon in traditional performance appraisalprocess such as the scores of human feelings and subjective.
