Nationalminority journalism is important in the cultural field and also a momentouscomponent of the Chinese journalism. It is in the process of socialist constructionplays an irreplaceable role. Minority news reports can build for the national unity ofpublic opinion environment and promoting economic and social development inminority areas; strengthen harmonious dialogue between ethnic minorities to promoteunity of nationalities. It also can reflect the spirit, improve minority region for China,and eventually contribute to the realization of the goal to build a harmonious society.It is just to see the significant influence of the minority journalism andcommunication, meanwhile to find some problems to be solved in the minority newsreports of Khampa area on TV. So this article, combined with practical, uses thetheory of journalism and communication and presents a systematic discussion andanalysis about the minority news reports of Khampa areas on TV, at last, the articleraises question and finds the solutions.By studying the minority news reports on the Khampa TV program, this article atfirst analyses the types, topic selection, theme and language of these news reports,then finds the problems to be solved in the minority news reports of Khampa areas onTV. Such as, timeliness of these reports is not strong, a wide range of news reports butnot a balanced proportion, the lack of in-depth reports and news comments, the lackof quality of news reports themselves and journalists. At last, this article put forwardthe solutions: firstly, improving the quality of the news reports, secondly, taking allthe fields into consideration to balance the range of the news reports, thirdly,enhancing the expression and influence of minority news reports, fourthly, tostrengthen the training of the minority journalists, at last, increasing the investmentand support for the national minority journalism.
