With the progress of society as well as the rapid development of science and technology, the data acquisition system has become an integral part of the field of scientific research, and the industrial application control, and has been widely applied in a number of areas such as communications, medical, military and high-energy physics. FPGA developments also keep up with the pace of the market demands. With high clock frequency, high speed, small internal delay, flexible forms of organization, and FPGA IP core technology used in the development process, the FPGA itself has greatly accelerated the development speed, shorten the development cycles, so the processor part of the data acquisition systems in various fields choose to use the FPGA.High-speed data acquisition system designed and implemented in this article is based on FPGA design, including data acquisition, data storage, data transmission and clock control. VerilogHDL language, FPGA internal primitives and IP cores complete the FPGA logic control and data acquisition stitching, high-speed data storage and transmission. With the applications of ISE and its own tools named chipscope to sample and observe the related signals, as well as Matlab to analyze the signals, the performance of the systems is verified to meet the goals of the design.
