With the high development of science and technology,data collection is developing rapidly towards multi-channel,high-speed and intellectual direction.Traditional systems for data collection collect and process signal through MCU,DSP and ARM which have their defects.Compared to the Field Programmable Gate Array,MCU and DSP are hard to meet demands on clock rate and Order processing. Though hard to realize complex hardware logic control, FPGA takes advantages on high-speed operation and complex algorithm processing while ARM depends on software which takes part of collecting time during running. According to the requirement,this article introduces a high-speed temprature collection system based on FPGA.Taking advantages on strong ability of parallel processing to FPGA,here gives a high-speed system for temprature collection based on A/D,FPGA and USB,which process the signal collected in the FPGA chip and transmit it to the upper machine for validation through USB interface.The main content contains:1Choose a high-re solution A/D chip for data collection and a low cost but high performance external memory for fleeting data storage.2Give details of ISE12.3,basic theory of FPGA and principle of designing.3Give details of designing of hardware and PCB.4Give details of software realization and testing results. Modelsim SE respectively using ADC module, DCM clock management module, data collection storage module and USB module are simulated. Detailed introduction data acquisition software realization storage module, namely the key in this paper is an SRAM, reading and writing Verilog HDL realized. After testing of hardware and software,the designing of the whole system proves to have excellent real-time ability and high resolution,which can meet the demand of high-speed data collection system and receive expeced result of real-time temprature measurement.
