Distributed data acquisition system is widely used in industrial control,power systems,earthquake monitoring,ocean exploration and many other fields.For distributed data acquisition system,the synchronization of data acquisition is a important performance indicator,which has a great impact on effectiveness of data acquision and accuacy of data analysis.Synchronization of data acquisition is achieved through the clock synchronization technology,so researching the technology of clock synchronization has strong engineering practical value.Therefore,this paper designed a clock synchronization system used in distributed data acquisition system.The main architecture of the hardware is the PowerPC processor + FPGA.FPGA extended RS-485 interfaces and optical interfaces to achieve synchronous clock transmission.Through 2 sets of SERDES hardware solution,the FPGA extended 4 LVDS interfaces to realize the data and synchronous clock transmitted in the same serial channel.In addition,this paper also studied the scheme of adaptive clock synchronization.On the hardware platform designed in this paper,the adaptive clock synchronization of multiple transmission links has been realized.Processor extended 4 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces to achieve high-speed transmission of acquisition data.The processor and FPGA is connected through PCI-E X4 to ensure the bandwidth.In addition,the system also entended JTAG and RS-232 interface to achieve system interaction and control.The test showed that the clock synchronization system designed in this paper supports various forms of clock synchronization schemes.The system also support high-speed network data transmission.The system satisfies the design requirements.
