With the development of radar technology,the capability of radar is becoming more and more complex.To detect and restore radar scenario,we have to do data acquisition storage and playback.Therefore,the studies on how to achieve high-speed data acquisition storage and playback getting more and more attention.DSP has the advantage of flexibility to implement complex algorithms.FPGA has the advantage of fast processing large amounts of data.Thus,this radar data acquisition storage and playback system select “DSP + FPGA” architecture as its hardware platform.This paper is organized as follows,the background information and related work are reviewed in section I.Section II and Section III discuss the two modules of the system.For each module,specific hardware and software design solutions are discussed.And compare the actual debugging and simulation verification.The first sub-module of the system is mainly used to realize the radar echo data acquisition and storage function.Firstly,the selection of the analog-to-digital conversion chip and determination of the data acquisition rate are carried out.The performance index of radar echo data after digital acquisition,the need for a certain data pre-processing operations before storage,then introduced after the pre-processing data is how high speed serial transmission between the high-speed and high-density NAND Flash Real-time storage in array memory.The second sub-module of the system is the realization of radar data playback.Firstly,the overall design framework of the playback system is introduced.The importance of the radar reference timing control signal in data playback and the recovery method in the data playback system are discussed.Debugging results to analyze the data playback system to achieve the specific process and design methods.Finally,the design flow and basic idea of FPGA-based radar signal processing are summarized.At the same time,this idea is integrated into other complex digital system designs with FPGA as the master chip.Then by analyzing the radar data acquisition,playback system hardware design and software writing on the shortcomings,given the practical problems to be solved and for further improvement work given the next related advice.
