The Design And Implementation Of Tool Management System In Small And Medium-sized Enterprises

In the21st century, information technology has become the most active contemporary social productivity. The building of the information technology industry is the trend in the development of the manufacturing industry in the world today.It is digital management of the manufacturing process in manufacturing enterprises mainly. But the tooling which is an important resource for secondary manufacturing is an essential part of enterprise information construction from design, manufacturing, management fees and other aspects of information management. These processes are often easily overlooked.This paper analyzes the domestic and international manufacturing management status, for the tooling management in product manufacturing process, gives the meaning and purpose of the information construction. Reading of the literature, it discusses the concept of tooling and tooling management in detail, makes sure that the toolings are aids of enterprise products manufactured. The processes of design and manufacturing are similar to the way of product management. So this article designs and implements enterprise tooling resources information management on the basis of the original production management system. This paper chooses the gearbox production-based branch of a large state-owned enterprise as the research object, has a large number of research about enterprise production management mode and process characteristics, analyzes the main problems of the tooling management of enterprise status and it’s process currently, puts forward the goal of the tooling information management, clear the functional requirements, system integration requirements and system development needs of the enterprise tooling information construction, establishes the overall framework of the tooling management of this study on the basic of the original production management system. It realizes the integration of CAPP, PDM and production management system. It researches and analyzes the organizational model of production, the information technology status and the tooling management of the whole process of business process, establishes the organization model, the information model and the functional model of the tooling management, optimizes the traditional tooling management process, achieves the synchronization management and control of tooling and product among the aspects of design, procurement, manufacturing, inventory, cost and so on, builds the information platform of tooling management, makes the information sharing within the plant-wide; analyzing and optimizing the actual process of inventory management of the internal tooling, it establishes the detailed information model of tooling inventory management module, and gives a detailed description of this module form the human-computer interface design, preparation of system code, system and database connection. Finally, this article introduces the system development environment of tooling management; it is on the basic of production management system which is existed and C/S mode; chooses VB.NET as the system development tools; chooses the SQL Server2000as the background database management tools, achieves the design and development of tooling management.After constantly improved and perfected, the system is being applied now. It is playing a positive role in improve enterprise management level; strengthen cost control, improving business conditions. At the same time, the study also has great reference value for the information construction of production management in other SMEs.
