With the development of modern production, the application of standard parts in the mechanical, electronics, light industry, automobile, aerospace, shipbuilding and other fields becomes more and more extensive. Seventy percent of mechanical products are standard parts, and thirty percent are common parts. They have the same sharp but different dimension. In the process of products design and development, as far as possible using standard parts and common parts, not only can reduce the cost of the product, improve design quality, more can shorten the processing cycle. Using standard pats largely, i.e. creating standard parts library can bring advantages for the design of products.This system is researched and developed by author and R&D personnel of Changzhou Dade Mold Design Co. Ltd. User survey, and based on the actual situation, the author designed a stand-alone version of the standard parts library, and was responsible for research projects. This paper also analyzed the background and significance of logistics management system, via requirement analysis, identifies the development direction of the system. There were standard development environment settings, template design, database design, and user interface design in this system. Finally, this paper described the detailed design and implementation of typical models.The standard part management system worked well in terms of system application, and greatly improved the design efficiency and quality of the product during the running time.
