Clinical Study On Treating Knee Osteoarthritis(Cold Coagulation And Blood Stasis)with The Qiangguixishu Pills

Objective:To explor the clinical effect and security of the qiangguixishu pill treatment patients with Knee osteoarthritis(Cold coagulation and blood stasis).This research could lay a solid foundation for clinical further study and new drug development.Methods:80cases with Knee osteoarthritis(Cold coagulation and blood stasis) were divided into groups randomly.Test group(40cases) were received qiang gui xi shu pill treatment during two courses. Control group(40cases) were received jin gu tong xiao pill during two courses. The clinical therapeutic effect of the two groups were compared by observing the change of the subjective symptoms, impersonal physical signs, quality of life before taking the pills,1month and2month after taking them.they also monitored the drug’s security at the same time. Result: Two groups one month after treatment, pain scores and dysfunction more meaningful integration group, the symptoms were relieved,The difference between groups was not statistically significant, Before and after treatment in knee stiffness score and total score of the two groups and between groups, the difference was statistically significant, The treatment group was significantly better than the control group. Two sets of two months after treatment, knee pain, stiffness, dysfunction and knee total score group compared with the statistical significance, No statistically significant difference between groups. The TCM syndromes clinical comparison of the two groups in the month, two months after treatment, the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusions:The present trail indicated that both qiang gui xi shu pill and jin gu tong xiao pill had a certain curative effect in improving subjective symptoms and impersonal physical signs.In addition, the treatment group was more effective in Improving the stiffness of knee.They both had not adverse reactions. Description qiang gui xi shu pill is a treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee (Cold coagulation and blood stasis) a safe and effective program.
