The project of Wuhou district E-government network is operated by the research result of the paper.Firstly, on the background of the characteristic of SDH digital signal, this paper researches the application of IP OVER SDH technique which is widly used in the construction of MAN of Chengdu Tietong. Accoding to the research, IP OVER SDH has got a very good internet compatibility, so it is becoming the most popular technique which is used in various networks, including Wuhou district E-government network project of course.Secondly, accoding to the practical work requirement, the paper designes the Equivalent Model and the design scheme for both inside and outside parts of network.
