Reseach And Simulation Of Metropolitan Area Network Based On The OTN Technology

With the growing popularity of digital network in today, various types of digital signals share network. As digital signal particles present the development of the high bandwidth and high rate, the metropolitan area network(MAN) as all signal bearing network also needs a more stable, higher speed, more flexible and more secure direction. Based on its OTN technology, MAN is a very good solution to this problem.Firstly, this thesis carries out a detailed analysis of construction of MAN based on OTN and simulation of MAN. The importance of MAN and OTN technology is given. With a simulation platform for test and analysis, the conclusion and method are obtained. And then a detailed analysis of the section of the OTN technology involved in the MAN networking is carried out, including the hierarchy and structure of OTN MAN, frame structure, overhead information, as well as the encapsulation method. The technology and implement on the construction of MAN based on OTN are supported.
