The coal mine environment is complex, many hidden safety dangers. Therefore, coal mine accidents have occurred occasionally, many of them are major safety accident that hundreds of deaths. Not only the safety production of our country has adversely affected, but also contrary to our basic national policy of human-oriented.The purpose of this paper is that through a combination of the coal mine physical environment characteristics and coal mine safety management's actual needs, research a safe and reliable coal mine safety monitoring and positioning system to improve the negative exploitation of coal mine safety situation.In the full study of the coal mine safety monitoring and positioning system under the premise of supporting technologies, this study focused on about follow key aspects, and to achieve the desired results.(1) Energy efficiency, and reliable routing protocol for mineRouting protocol for wireless sensor research has been a hot and difficult. Different applications have different requirements for routing protocols. Fully integrated the reality of the situation, a kind of new routing protocols combination tree routing and clustering routing has proposed. Proposed for underground mining surface environment, "local consultation" data collection mechanism to avoid data redundancy of the network and improve the routing efficiency.(2) Real-time, high-precision positioning algorithm for personnel and accidentThe superior performance of positioning system depends largely on the location algorithm. System using RSSI location algorithm which low hardware requirements, low cost, easy to implement. Through experiment selecting reasonable threshold, remove large channel interference by rough handling, using the maximum likelihood filter smoothing small fluctuations in the channel. At the same time according to the system real-time requirements, determine the amount of data each time filtering.(3) Low-power, intrinsically safe explosion-proof design of the nodeMajor applications of wireless sensor nodes is the coal mine where exist gas, so explosion-proof is the primary problem. In the design, combined with the relevant provisions of the GB3836, from the value of components, operating environment, PCB layout and other multi-pronged approach, designed the hardware node to meet the essential safety requirements. In addition, the low-power design of node for energy-constrained applications is very important, the main consideration are low-power component selection and streamline processes design.Upon completion of the above research work, carried out joint commissioning of system in the mine environment to be, Test system performance respectively. Experiments show that the function of each part of the system fully in line with the anticipated research goals, in accordance with the provisions of mine safety monitoring and positioning systems.
