Realization Of Product Lifecycle Oriented PDM

Product Data Management System can collect, share and maintain the data produced in the course of product developing effectively, can solve the problem of product data Integration. Although there are many proven PDM products, the majority of the products aim at the management of static produts data. It is absent to manage and control the process of product data forming, changing, transforming and using. This led the life circle of products longer. So it is most necessary for enterprises to own a PDM oriented by the management of product life circle, using the PDM to model and manage the course of product developing from technology and management.Product Life-cycle Modeling (PLM) connects the product data of every phrase and every field adopting the View on Life Evolution, integrates separating models, and forms logical integrating product data source. PLM is an inevitable trend for the development of the product modeling technology. The continuous development of IT supports the product modeling technology; we can establish the product model oriented by product life-cycle. In the thesis, first discussed the theory and commercial application of PDM. by consulting many documents and investigated the functions and applying of PDM software at home and abroad. Second analyzed the concept of PLM and the relation between PLM and PDM, established the integrating system frameworks of PLM in manufacturing industry. PLM is the extending of PDM. In the paper, the functions of PDM were changed to mutual independence and integrating subsystems, and the integrating of technology and management was implemented.In the sysytem frame of product life-circle, the paper modeled the business process and object, aimed at the project management system orinented by process and management, aimed at the management of developing data oriented by data management, and aimed at work areas integrating technology and management. Project Management System is a complete solving scheme of plan and process management, including many knowledge scopes of time, resource and risk. The management of developing data can manage the data and documents, just as PDM, ensures the loose couple of the system of PLM, peeling off the functions of process management and work-flowing. The work-area management synthesezes the project management system, develops data management and part synergistic functions, and provides a unified and convenient operating interface for project managers and product designers. In order to make the combing the theories and practices, the thesis employed all-round the Object Oriented Analysis to model, UML to describe, J2EE to develop. In the last,the thesis summaried all the work,pointed the future research and the problems needing to solve.
