By analyzing the basic conception and the development process of product data management , the deficiencies of the present product data management systems are summarized, and on the basis of analyzing the overall lifecycle management, a viewpoint of building PLM-oriented product data management system is proposed, then in order to realize the system, its three main key techniques are studied. The first one of them is index technique of product configuration, in which the product configuration is regarded as the index source, and the interrelated datum of product are organized and extracted, then the product data and product configuration are associated. The second one is multi-BOM mapping technique, in which the BOM of product data is source, and by inheritance mapping, extending mapping, variance mapping and so on, interface-BOMs for product lifecycle management are provided. The third one is modeling technique of container object for product data, in which in order to assure one data source, the containers of data are divided into physical container and logical container, the physical container is used to data storage and the logical container is used to visual data display.Finally, on the basis of building function model, database model, class model of PLM-Oriented Product Data Management system by using UML (United Modeling Language), the prototype system LM-Oriented Product Data Management system is constructed, and the function modules of the system are introduced. |
