| Video surveillance has been the first choise for government agencies, banks, the museum, markets, enterprises, institutions and public places for security and protection.But it needs a large number of security personnel to look over the scenes of monitors all day for the traditional video surveillance, which wastes enoumous manpower and financial resources. With the development and aging of computer vision, pattern recognition and digital image processing, a system of unattended intelligent video surveillance has attracted extensive attention from sectors of the community, which has been utilized widely.The main content of this design is to realize a small intelligent video surveillance system.The following content is its main process of work:the analog video signals are captured by CCD camera, video A/D convert them to digital image signals. As a controller, CPLD provides interface logic for DSP and video A/D.The main responsibility of DSP is to process the digital image signals. When the dangerous situation is appeared, this system will give an alarm to security personnel, which can achieve the aim of intelligent video surveillance.According to the functional requirement of this system, this paper progresses the following tasks concretely:First of all, it introduces the hardware design of each module, which includes the signal acquisition module, signal processing module, memory module and the design of interface between each module circuit. Seondly, it introduces the software design of each module detailedly, which includes the control logic design of signal acquisition, the software configuretion of video A/D by DSP, digital image processing and software design of communication interface between the various functional modules.Finally, we integrate the various functional modules to debug and show the results of debugging. |
