Construction And Application Of Intelligent Video Surveillance Systems

With the rapid development of the computer vision processing technology, electronic and communication technology, video monitoring gradually becomes an important vehicle in security system. The earliest video monitoring system mainly refers to the analog video surveillance system. After that, digital surveillance and intelligent monitoring arouse much attention in the practical applications due to the unique advantages they have. Therefore, this article carried out researches and implements on the core technology of intelligent video surveillance in the theoretical and practical aspects.This paper is mainly divided into three parts:First of all, the development history of video surveillance technology is introduced. We summed up the key technology of video surveillance and the status of application market, and pointed out the shortcomings existing in the basic monitoring systems.And then, DSP intelligent video acquisition and processing of the intelligent video surveillance system were demonstrated. We focused on the design of video tracking module:choosing frame differential method for moving target capture, using the improved threshold method to capture the moving targets, adopt the adaptive method to constantly update the background, completing the task of video tracking task through PTZ control.At the end of the paper, campus intelligent video monitoring system based on the video codec technology of H.264algorithm and IP multicast technology was successfully set up. This system has a set of functions as follows:video data transmission, faster data retrieval speed, intelligent management and specific target tracking control. Thus, it illustrated that the application of intelligent video surveillance system could bring significant changes in our lives.
