The productions of video surveillance have merged into human's everyday life and played important role. For example:security,industrial control and video conference and so on. It brings much facilitate to people.This system is supported by the science and technology project 2008 of Wuhu (2008312). This project is the system of wireless video surveillance's research based on CDMA.Contrasting the embedded CPU that is mainstream in current day, and combining the features of wireless surveillance and basing the high of cost performance, using the JZ4750 chip of Ingenic Semiconductor Co., Ltd. Using Linux and GPRS net's source, proposing a wireless video surveillance's program, completing wireless video surveillance's develop. It can use some special occasion. This system consists of monitoring center and monitoring terminal. Monitoring center is a common PC. It is responsible for every module's working, and manages the content of surveillance. Monitoring terminal consists of embedded platform,CMOS sensor,video module and GPRS module that are responsible for collecting picture,dealing with and transmitting data. This article's emphasis is video collection of frontend, equipment drive, the communication of monitoring center and monitoring terminal.First this article describes the concept of GPRS, Linux, and describes the U-Boot's transplanting, configuration and Linux's transplanting and cutting in detailed.Describing the structural framework and working principle then describing the design of system's hardware, including about the design of JZ4750's development board,the design of CMOS camera's module,the design of video module and the design of serial ports circuit. The article describes the hardware and software of CMOS camera's design in detail. Giving the picture of hardware's schematics, describing OV9650's drive's develop based on Linux equipment, writing the important code and giving the test result of camera module. In the picture compression, after describing the necessary of picture compression, constructing some compression method and compression technology, using JPEG chip codec ZR36060 and completing picture compression. The design of monitoring center highlight describes the development about monitoring terminal software and communication software based on Linux OS. The monitoring terminal software is responsible for video picture collection and capturing the scene data, communication software is responsible for data's transmission in the GPRS net. Describing GPRS accessing and after deeply understanding about GPRS net technology and TCP/IP protocol and so on, researching about the article[31-33] submission of UDP transmission correspondlly, Pointing to the system needs transmitting different data, providing two transmission method:TCP and UDP.They solve different data transmission very well. Monitoring center is response for managing all the system and showing the pictures of surveillance and monitoring important scene data. After completing the software of monitoring center, testing all the system and giving the result.At last to summary the content and the feature of system, point the shortcoming of the system, propose the method of improving, and point the direction of research.
