A Design Of Intelligent Household Security Video Monitoring Based On ARM And GPRS

With the development of the embedded technology, its use in the security alarm system is becoming wider. Meanwhile, people now put forward higer requirement in the safety of their living environmeng. The combination of the embedded technology and the video surveillance will meet this requirement. So a kind of security alarm system based on embedded platform and mobile module is designed in this paper to meet this requirement.The host of this security alarm system introduces a Samsung S3C2440 ARM processor based on ARM920T core, and the Linux system. This system combines the host and the user by mobile network to respone emergency situations, getting rid of the constraints of video surveillance cables.First the development trend of the security alarm field is analyzed. A security alarm solution is proposed based on features of video surveillance and relating technologies.The embedded video surveillance system is then designed with the S3C2440 and Linux as platform, and with the combination of the human sensing module, the USB camera and the mobile module.Writing and debugging human body sensor module driver, studies the USB cameras load and use under Linux system. Achieve the information collected communication with the phone module.Compiled the image acquisition, storage program based on the V4L APIs, realizing data transmission function between the development board and mobile terminal; After test, the entire system is stable, achievethe the purpose of the design.
