With the development of society and the improvement of people's living standard,the demand for animal-derived food improved greatly every year,people are increasingly concerned about the quality and safety of animal-derived food The incident of British"mad cow disease"in 1996 and the incident of Dioxin pollution occurred in the four-nation European Union in May 1999 indicated the importance of safety in production of beef. The developed countries, such as EU, U.S. and Japan have introduced laws and regulations that proposed mandatory requirements to the traceability about the quality and safety of beef products. Therefore, establishing the traceability system about the quality and safety of beef is not only contribute to control the beef product quality and recall product, but also conducive to improve the information management of beef and international market competitiveness. Currently, many countries have conducted several researches on the traceability system of beef quality and the exploration about system related. Those researches have achieved some results. In the country, the research and application about the traceability system of beef safety production were also promoted actively. However, the problem about cohesion in the breeding, slaughtering and marketing links effectively and then designing the whole process of traceability system need to be further study.Therefore, with the basis of the effective tracking and reference about R&D and promoting the use of dynamic of beef traceability system for production safety at home and abroad, the article analyzed beef safety production of breeding links and slaughtering links and sales link by using the advanced dynamic tracing thought. Then it selected the key information which can be traced back of the three links and analyzed the general functions and features about the traceability system of beef safety production process. The system customizes the traceability code of beef safety production process by using of EAN?UCC encoding rules and identifies individual by applying the RFID ear tag and one-dimensional codes to the beef safety production process effectively.System design is the focus of research content of beef safety production process. According to the entire beef supply chain and information indicators, the paper presents the overall design thought of beef safety production process and the system architecture based on ASP.NET by using of network technology and information technology. It proposed the three modules and its main functions about the traceability system of beef safety production process in accordance with the sequence of breeding, slaughtering, and sales. On the basis of it, the article constructed the concept structure model of three links, then established the relational database. At last, it designed the structure relation model of key data table.In the final stages of system implementation, the article proposed the system interface and the realization principle of codes. Then it displayed the quality and safety information management module and quality and safety traceability module by example, and put forward the basic content of system testing and maintenance.In summing up and drawing on the basis of previous studies, the article design and development the traceability system of beef safety production process in order to provide methodological guidance and technical support for effective traceability of beef quality and safety in China.
