China Mobile Research On Mobile Newspaper Service And Development Of Mobile New Media

With the development of modern communications cell phone plays an important role in people's daily life, especially in urban areas, peoples' daily life would be seriously affected without cell phones, it has become the extension of human senses.At the same time the cell phone has developed from a terminal with basic call function to pocket PC with smart operation system and high-resolution color screen, with more features such as SMS, MMS, Internet and more software applications sopported. These capabilities are the foundation of cell phone as the main carrier of new media. Mobile newspaper service take the cell phone as the main carrier new media service form, depending on SMS, MMS, mobile Internet, client and other forms, present the content of news and current affairs and other consulting services to the public. Because of its own personal, convenient, fast communication, rich in content and ease of interaction characteristics, known as "newspaper with a body temperature" mobile newspaper service is developing rapidly; currently the number of users has reached almost 50 million in China Mobile which is the largest mobile operator, its influence has been much higher than other traditional media.MMS is the most common and important way in a variety of implementations to present mobile newspaper; and almost 95% of the users are using this way. The aim of this dissertation is to focus on the platform design and implementation of China Mobile's multimedia message service, a detailed analysis of the structure of the MMS platform, design idea and implementation principles. At the same time in regard of mobile newspaper has the nature of the media communications, the operator developed a MMS content management system, is responsible for editing the newspaper content, reviewing, and publishing. It is also the core support function of mobile newspaper service. The report will make an introduction of the functional design for platform, implementation principle.Technology is still developing; the MMS service form will eventually be replaced by new technologies. Moreover, this report will make a brief introduction on the innovative mobile multimedia broadcasting mobile TV service, with reference to the work with tri-networks integration, and looking forward to the future of the new media.
