Mobile Communication System Wcdma Radio Network Planning

Along with the rise of the third generation mobile communication, the number of 3G network has been increasing internationally, thus the constructing of 3G communication network is blossoming. More and more telecom operators have put 3G network planning into consideration.This thesis is based on the China Mobile's developing stratagem toward future 3G network construction, According to the guidance and process of WCMDA-wireless network planning and from a technological view, this work studies the basic principles and methods of the WCDMA-wireless network planning that is different to those of the GSM system in practical engineering constructions.This thesis clarify in detail of the items such as network orientation, network programming and actualizing method, covering principle, capability principle, site choosing, antenna setup and principle of indoor covering. Based on those clarifying, this thesis explains the actualizing policy of WCDMA network programming.After those clarifying, this thesis deepen the discuss of 2G/3G network constructing method base on the fact of 2G mature network which China Mobile has possessed, validating the conclusion of network programming by using the computer simulation and network testing.Basing on those clarifying as mentioned above, this thesis form a practical and useful programming method, offering some suggestion and instruction for the Group and provincial companies in 3G programming and constructing. All the conclusions in this thesis can be actualized in the network programming phases according to the demand of practicality.The main aim of this thesis is offering principle and method of WCDMA wireless network programming, so the specific versions of WCDMA is not in consideration of this thesis. Specific constructing scheme should be based on specific situation.
