Nowadays in publishing industry, with the rapid development of information technology, in order to get more space for development, to make sure that the publication is accepted by the market, satisfactory to the readers, and profitable as well, the traditional publication and management model must be changed. Possible options of changes might include, standardized management and scientific decision, improvement in publishing and the level of informationalization, optimization of business processes, financial and business integration, business management and office automation integration, improvement in control of cost and the efficiency, improvement in publishing quality and sales services. Through these changes, the targets of being accepted by the market, satisfactory to the readers, profitable for the company itself could be achieved.The paper focus on the case study of company X, which is done through introducing the concept of information system, the knowledge and skills of business process reengineering, and the analysis of the company's business process and its structure related problems, information management, publishing management, market control and so on. Then the author proposed a solution to solve the problems, manage the business process and finally, based on the real situation company X is facing, designed the goals for the key business process and outlined its strategy accordingly.
