Process Reengineering In A Periodical And Practice

Since China has joined WTO, the periodical industry as an important cultural industry has been facing more and more pressures and difficulties, including outside competition pressures from international and domestic markets and inside existing old system. It is urgent need to find solutions to overcome adversity and improve core competitiveness, to seek greater development. In this paper, we focus on the application of the business process reengineering (BPR) theory in a university journal editorial process reengineering practice, and through which some experiences and effects can be summarized for the periodical industry, the publishing industry to improve management.On the basis of summarizing and analyzing the foreign and domestic researches and application in BPR, this paper introduces the recycling process, cause, related concepts, basic theory, methods, implementation steps, and differences from other improvement methods.This paper analysis the difficulties and challenges of A University Journal. On the basis of BPR theories, around how to increases the manage benefit, start with the periodical industry characteristic and the development of the industrial property, investigate the organize construction and the manage model of technology periodical, analysis the edit process of technology periodical, and evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional process as a whole. And here, the paper study the flowing questions, such as the standard, the principle, the key and the practice of the organizing-editing- checking articles, and make a clear opportunities for BPR. At the first stage of the BPR practice, the reformation of property rights, organizational re-structuring and new corporate culture building should be completed, which establish a good precondition for the next BPR implementation. According to the model of process, give the practice process of the periodical edit process that is maneuverability.The practice shows that the BPR is one of important solution for companies to get rid of predicament facing great changing environments.
