The Construction Of Enterprise Pdm System And The Integration Discussion

Product Data Management (PDM) technology appeared at first in manufacturing industry and manufacturing enterprise has always been the major section for the application of PDM technology. However, essentially speaking, PDM is applicable to various industrial sections. With its development, PDM technology has been introduced to sections such as medicine, electricity, building, transportation and so on. Nowadays PDM has become an important technology in the application field of computers. The application of PDM brings enormous benefits for enterprises. As an applied technology which is continuously developed and brought forth new ideas, PDM is the only way for enterprise informatization.The main researches of this paper include:(1)introducing the concept of PDM and its development, and summarizing and looking into the future of the application tendency of PDM.(2)analyzing and designing the database management module, the product structure and bill of material (BOM) module, the product file module and the application integration module of the PDM system; pointing out in detail the structure of the database system and the division of the data structure of the PDM system, the structure of the product BOM, and the realization of BOM visual transformation technology; designing the algorithm and the running procedure of the product structural tree, realizing the traversal function and other functions of the product structural tree, and realizing the construction and development of the PDM system.(3)investigating the integration of the PDM system, realizing applied encapsulation of CAD and PDM system, and realizing the quick preview function of the product model by applying OLE technology and Auto Vue Plug-in; putting forward the integration model based on transformation from EBOM to MBOM and from MBOM to PurchaseBOM, constructing the purchase management system model of the ERP system, and realizing integrated operation of PDM and the purchase system model.Through the researches of this paper, the construction and development process of the PDM system of an enterprise is realized, and the validity of realizing the integration of PDM system and ERP system based on BOM transformation technology is verified by an example developed by the system. The researches of this paper can raise the level of enterprise informatization, can realize data information exchange of enterprises, and have practical value.
