Product Data Management System Design And Development

This paper developed and studied the Product Design Process Management System for Jiangsu Douleng Numeral Control Machine Joint-Stock Limited Corporation. First, Requirement of Douleng Corporation is analyzed. The general framework and functions of DL-PDM system are described and also analyzed in detail in this paper;Second, Based on basic characters of object-oriented of PDM system, E-R model of product data in the process of product design is built. Above all, management model and its structures with three sub-model such as the model of human resource management, the model of product design information, the model of work task management are constructed. In addition, the three models combined systematically form one integrated system;At last, the paper developed program on DL-PDM product design process management system according to product design process management model constructed and also completed some function modules of the program. The works meet management requirement of product information of research and development department in the company and provide strong foundation on implementing PDM in the company.
