The research of this thesis is to design a portable nerve electrical signal collection system for the subject "the animal-robots" in my lab. This equipment can examine the electric characteristic of the specially appointed function nucleus in the brain, when the animals do some especial actions in sober state. This will help the researchers find the more effective way of controlling the animals' action. The system can be divided into three sections: the Signals Collection System, the Embedded Linux System and the Software Analysis System. The Signals Collection System is to collect, amplify and deal signals. We bury the electrodes which we make ourselves into the target nucleus to coordinate the data gathering of electric signals. Then we use AD623 to realize the filter and amplifying circuit and use the animal's body form signals to wipe off AC common-mode interference . And we also design the notch filter to realize the elimination of 50Hz power-line interference. The system use the S3C2410 based on the ARM920T Core as the data processing unit. Bootloader and embedded Linux kernel are ported, and the root file system is found. And do the development of the Collection Module. And do the development of the signal acquisition and module processing based on the ADC interface of S3C2410.In the algorithm part, I use the averaging filter to filter the signal, which improves the Signal-to-Noise ratio. I use FIR filter to eliminate baseline-drift. The filter is designed easy to do. The filter is designed easy to do. And it not only can satisfy the requirements of the system filter, but also can keep the initial waveform for the researchers use. This system is able to acquire electric high-quality signals by taking the advantage of the appropriate hardware/software design, and provide strong basic support for the develop and study of the biologic signal collecting in lab. And the study of the invasive collection will have broad applied prospects in medical and animal neurobiology.
