The development of display and analysis instrument has been increasingly appreciated, which supplies uniform program interface for programmer and has the advantages of short development period, powerful display and analysis function etc. Portable vibration instrument based on Windows CE is developed. In this paper, the modularized configuration of Windows CE operating system and the procedure of driver development are disserted, real-time and embedded performance are analyzed, characteristics of application program development are summarized. What's more, WinCE operating system based on PCM-3350 is configured, driver of data acquisition board and application software are programmed. Vibration analysis software adopting Win32 API, multi-thread design and modular configuration has such functions as real-time wave display, real and frequency domain analysis, data store and so on. Being an auxiliary part of vibration monitoring system, it can be used in equipments with decentralized measurement spots and without continuous monitoring, and it can supply real-time and credible information to operators.
