The modern Near-Infrared spectroscopy technology is the most advanced and attractive spectral analysis technique since 1990s, known as'analysis giant'. Because it has advantages of high analysis speed, low cost and no-pollution,it has become widely used.The portable near-infrared spectroscopy which is being developed by the near-infrared lab is used to determine mineral composition and lement.Traditional spectrometers belong to large precise instruments. They not only have large bulks, but also request harsh environment. They are not suitable for the field analysis. Generally geological workers collect mineral samples from the field and bring its into the lab to do the analysis. Mineral needs packaging,recording,transportation and so on .The course influenses work efficiency . So the research on potable Near-Infrared spectrometer has become a hotspot recently.After years of hard work our lab has developed the PISA-II prototype of Near-Infrared spectrometer.Its measurement and control system is consisted of the 51 SCM and the PC.The 51 SCM copmpletes data acquisition and driver control;The upper PC is responsible for data processing,analysis and display.The both transmit data and comunicate via USB or serial interface, so it is not true meaning portable equipment.Recent years it has being the hot spot of studying portable equipment to apply ARM-based embedded systems in the field of M&C,and .ARM processors not only enjoy 51 MCU's control convenience and flexibility,but also hold 32processor's data processing capabilities.So it make instruments to be truly portable. This issue (863 projects) is the main research using ARM-based embedded system in the measurement and control of near-infrared pectrometer.In this paper we mainly completed portable near-infrared spectroscopy measurement and control circuit design based on the S3C2410 processor. Control circuit can drive the step motor and do data acquisition ,data processing and analysis.Data will be displayed on 5.7-inch STN LCD screen in the form of atlas.the data can also be saved to U disk via the USB interface.This paper totally includes six chapters.Contents are as follows:The first chapter describes the origin and significance of the issue, Near- -Infrared .Spectrometer status at home and abroad and this major work finished. The second chapter describes the near-infrared analysis techniques and the principles of the near-infrared spectrometer PISA-II prototype, and introduces the scheme using ARM S3C2410 processor on measurement and control.The third chapter introduces the S3C2410 processor features based on ARM- -920T core,designs of the power supply module, AD modules, LCD modules and step motor control module and so on. some experience on PCB design is sumarized at last.the debug knowledge about embedded systems is placed in.the fourth chapter. First ARM integrated development environment (Embest IDE) is introduced,and then, the follow is details of the S3C2410 storage register allocation, NANDFlash register configuration, serial register allocation and interrupt register allocation and so on. the final is how to configure command script and linking script. these knowledge is the basis for debugging embedded systems, but also difficult.The fifth Chapter is about hardware and software debug. Hardware debug focused on SDRAM debug in the integrated development environment.software debugging do initial procedures, AD sample test and calcite test. the three tests verified the feasibility of the schemeThe final chapter is the whole paper's summary , and the using wireless module to portable near-infrared spectrometer instrument will be expected in the future.
