The Research On Wireless Remote ECG Monitoring System

Heart disease is the serious threat to human life, with the accelerating pace of people's live and the increasing work pressure, the incidence of heart disease is also increasing. When patients suffer heart attacks, they will probably die within an hour. However, in the hospital's routine ECG inspection, a short time inspection of the ECG usually can not detect the signs of abnormal ECG signals. Therefore, it is necessary for cardiovascular disease patient to have a long and continuous real-time monitoring, and it must be very benificial for the clinical diagnosis and the treatment of heart disease people. Therefore, if the patients with heart disease can be treated promptly through the medical assistance, the probability of heart attack death must be reduced, and it is extremely important for reducing heart disease mortality.The real-time performace of the current remote ECG monitoring system is not high, the characteristics of the mobility is also poor, and the system can not obtain the geographic position information of the patients. When the patient suffer a heart attack, the emergency people could not obtain the specific location of the patient, and can not give them a timly medical aid. In order to solve these problems, this paper proposes a wireless remote real-time ECG system based on GPS positioning and GPRS wireless communication, and the system has been designed and tested. Due to the system, patient with heart disease can be achieved a real-time ECG monitoring, and the doctor could grasp the patient's locate information. Through the analysis of the detected ECG data, docter can grasp the changes of the patient's condition, and to make timely diagnosis and treatment. This system avoids sudden heart attacks of cardiovascular disease, and strengthen the safety and comfort of the heart disease people.Meanwhile, in order to make the vast majority of the elderly heart disease patients also have a remote ECG monitoring service, this paper proproses a community-oriented ECG Monitoring System based on ZigBee wireless technology, and the system has been tested. This wireless remote ECG monitoring system combined with the wireless ECG monitoring system based on GPS positioning and GPRS wireless communication can construct a system based on wirless communication tecnology, the system can make all heart disease people have a full ECG monitorig.
