As an advanced manufacturing and management mode, lean production is highly concerned by academia and industry. With continuous improvement as its target, much more attention is paid for the production process-oriented management, and also for the personnel management. Lean production is people-oriented, and stresses the fine personnel management. With the upgrading of enterprise information level, combining lean production concepts and information technology, a fine personnel management with the use of information technology are studied. It is significant to promote the implementation of lean production.Personnel management in lean production involves information, transmission and processing, and information is the bottleneck. As an advanced information acquisition technology, RFID technology has unique advantages in automatic identification and information storage, and provides strong technical support for lean production. RFID technology could be used in studying and solving the problems in personnel management.The paper combines the features of RFID technology, and analyzes current stations of personnel management in lean production and automatic identification technology deeply. Workers are identified by the application of RFID technology, and the structure of RFID based worker automatic identification is established. The functions and key technologies of RFID worker identification are described. In the technology, the application mode is the base of the scheme, the functions and the structure are the key of the scheme, and data processing model is the soul of the scheme.In the RFID application model, the binding mode of RFID technology and workers, and the binding mode of RFID based worker identification and information system are studied. The meaning of application mode is shown. Considering the features of RFID technology and the needs of personnel management in lean production, the function structure of RFID based on worker identification is proposed. The framework of the scheme is studied on the basis of the functions, and is designed from the hardware and the software. After analyzing the RFID middleware and RFID data processing software, the function requirement of RFID in the aspect of information processing is studied, and the data processing model of RFID based worker identification is built. The dual-layer model which contains raw data filtering model and data aggregating and processing model is given. The functions and framework of the model is designed in detail.Finally, the implementation of the application scheme in a motorcycle production corporation manufacturer in Chongqing is described. The functions and the efforts are analyzed.
