Research And Application Of BOM In ERP System Based On Lean Production

With market competition appearing and globalization financial crisis getting worse day after day, in order to occupy the advantageous position, the enterprise is seeking the effective method to improve the quality and reduce cost as well as product cycle. As the leading software of enterprise information, the ERP software is potential tool of enhancing the enterprise management level and strengthening the competence.BOM is the most important data file of ERP. It affects the running of ERP system. For the modern manufacturing company, product structure and BOM structure are complicated. So it's necessary to research the BOM in ERP system based on lean production.In this thesis, based on the manufacturing practice of XX industry corperation, a BOM management system is developed. Furthermore, a new retrieval method is proposed. Compared with the normal retrieval methods, the remarkable advantage of the new method is not only to reflect the subjection of products in BOM but also to search all of subgroup once. So the ability and efficiency of BOM retrieval method are improved. The main contents in this thesis are described as follows:①Based on the summarization and analysis about BOM, the motivation and contents of this research are put forward.②Based on the introduction of ERP, lean production and BOM, as well as analysis of the normal retrieval methods, a new method is proposed. By introducing succession code, a single material contains all information of its ancestors, which converts the non-linear relationship of the normal methods, such as the stack as well as the queue, into a linear relationship. So the ability and efficiency of BOM retrieval method are improved. The results show that the new method is more efficient than the basic methods.③Considering the network running pattern and the condition of XX corperation, hardware buildup model and software model are established. At the same time, the design of some primary function modules is presented in detail. And PowerDesigner, as a tool, is used to database design.④Based on J2EE platform, lightweight frameworks are discussed. And code implementation of core technology is finished. Run applications of some function models are exhibited. Now, the BOM management system is in test run state and in good order. The work of this research is summarized, and several aspects to be lucubrated are pointed out.
