Today,personalized is more and more popular.The demand changes lead to the traditional mode of mass production in manufacturing industry is more and more difficult to meet the needs of the society.High-Mixed and Low-volume production has become a trend.At the same time,with the globalization,the competition is constantly increasing,resulting in manufacturing industry profit rate becomes lower and lower.Increase the profit is a necessary condition to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.Especially in China in twenty-first Century,as the rising cost of land resources and the cost of human resources,the cost pressures are increasing.Fast and effective response to customer needs,and enhance production flexibility and competitiveness is a necessary condition for enterprise survival.The lean production concept and approach from TOYOTA is to reduce waste through balanced production,JIT production and rapid die change(SMED).The way of lean production is to solve the waste problems in manufacturing enterprises.It is the way to improve the corresponding speed,and to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.High-Mixed and Low-volume,complex production process is the characteristic of H company microwave products.The traditional high-volume way,which is difficult to meet the demand of efficiency improvement and cost reduction.Therefore,the implementation of lean production is very necessary and feasible.In this paper,the background of lean production and the research status at domestic and abroad are discussed first.Then,the theory of lean production,SMED,CELL model production,JIT lean logistics and other methods are explained.At the same time,in-depth study of H company microwave products production methods,focusing on improving production equipment flexibility,solving High-Mixed and Low-volume production challenge,as well as long cycle time of logistics distribution.In this paper,using the lean approach of SMED,CELL mode,JIT,lean logistics production scene,brought to enhance the efficiency of H microwave products,but also to the similar manufacturing industry to provide a reference.
