The main purpose of Vehicle Virtual Testing System is the simulation for vehicle's performance.According to the results of dynamic simulation analysis,we can simulate the performance in various conditions in the virtual testing scene.Through interactive equipments,we can feel vehicle's handling and stability performance in all kinds of conditions,and we can evaluate the performance.On the basis of the evaluation,we can modify the model of the vehicle,and simulate again. The main purpose of this paper is establishing handling stability virtual testing.First of all, on the basis of summing up the research status of the relevant technical studies, according to the Parametric model in the virtual test system and the driver closed-loop control requirements, choosed system dynamics analysis software----ADAMS to analysis dynamics parameters. Then created a simplified model of the vehicle and according to the measured road data to test the handling and stability of the prototype through double_loop line tes.Then applicating ADAMS processing module to process the test data, finally,extracted lateral acceleration, vertical displacement data, and other parameters respectively.Secondly,using MultiGen Creator as tool to create 2D and 3D graphics,and create 3D graphic database in the virtual ground,and then by OpenGVS SDK which can call the graphics database to programm related resources,we can creat the virtual reality environment for the virtual testing. In the entire process of the modeling scene, using object-oriented method and hierarchical structure to design, building tree hierarchical structure test ground containing information such as test vehicles model and virtual ground, solutes the separating problem effectively about the movement of virtual vehicles and geometry Model.Thirdly, It is using VC++6.0 to create the menu interface for the virtual reality systems, and achieve the interface interactive between man and virtual scene. When the virtual simulation system is running, Transferred the virtual instrument from Labview, to show real-time simulating information of the vehicle.We can interactive with the virtual environment using interactive equipments such as three-dimensional glasses, helmets, trackingmouse, keyboard and so on.Automobile power and comfort in the process of a car design is very important factors,not only virtual test can effectively improves the design quality,improve the car's overall performance,but also can greatly improve the cost of the process since the whole process mainly used the virtual test.So virtual test has a high theoretical and practical value.
