In recent years, Virtual Reality Technology, also known as vision technique or artificial environment, has been paid extensive attention in computer field. By applying advanced computer technology, virtual environment with authentic multiple senses including vision, hearing and touching can be generated. Users can interact naturally with objects in the virtual environments by some special equipment, which makes them feel like in the real field. Because of these characteristics, Virtual Reality Technology is now being applied in various fields.Pressurizer is one of the most important equipments in primary loop system for PWR nuclear power station. Its basic function is to establish and maintain the pressure of primary loop system and to avoid the coolant boiling in the reactor volume. When the plant is in a steady state, the Pressurizer maintains the pressure of primary loop system at a constant value. When the plant is in instantaneous condition, the Pressurizer guarantees the pressure of primary loop system changes within a certain range limit. When the plant is in accident, the Pressurizer prevents the primary loop system from overpressure and maintains the integrity of primary loop system. In addition, as a buffer volume of primary loop system, The Pressurizer can absorb the sudden change of water volume.After analyzing PWR Pressurizer, this thesis tries to introduce Virtual Reality Technology into the water level control and pressure control system of PWR Pressurizer, by use of which the control process of Pressurizer water level and pressure control can be displayed real-time in virtual environment. Through the combination of numerical simulation and Virtual Reality it makes the traditional numerical simulation develop from two-dimensional curves to three-dimension form. Therefore, designers can analyze the performance of control system more intuitively. This thesis mainly includes the following parts:①Research on working principle of the Pressurizer and analysis of the transients of Pressurizer has been done. A mathematical model of transients and pressure control system and water level control system for PWR Pressurizer has been established by LabVIEW.②Analysis and Comparison on the popular Virtual Reality and Virtual Reality modeling techniques have been done. Life-size analogue Virtual Pressurizer scene is created by advanced 3D modeling software and Unity3d, a virtual reality development software.③Based on the data transmission features of LabVIEW and Unity3d, data transmission between Pressurizer control system and virtual environment is realized by software like LabSQl toolkit, MySQL, phpMyAdmin, etc.By taking advantage of the work above, it has practical effect in engineering design, safety analysis and staff training in the PWR nuclear power plant.
