Because of the characteristic and structural configuration of the running fan with high temperature, an on-line monitoring system for fans with high temperature based on virtual instrument is introduced on the basis of the traditional monitoring and fault diagnosis in this paper. This paper expatiated on the vibration mechanism and vibration failure analysis of fans having the characteristic of fault diagnosis Method of the general Rotating Machinery. Fault diagnosis of large Rotating Machinery Units should include the on-line monitoring system for the operation state of units, distill the state feature quantities of this unit, analyzing these characters and the running units'region identification. If there is the fault diagnosis of rotating machinery, the vibration will be increased. In allusion to the vibration measurement of this system, the vibration signal can rapidly and directly reflect the running state of these rotating machinery units. Thereby, the user interface can be explicated by using LabVIEW software, which is dynamic, alternate, high efficiency and uniform user interface.This paper mostly is consisted of three parts, which is vibration of Rotating Machinery and vibration failure analyzes, the collectivity design project and the realization of software. The whole design of on-line monitoring system is built in this subject, which system is based on data stream status, running characters, the requirements for in -situ monitor, communication technology and database knowledge. This system used graphic programming language LabVIEW for software developing tool and the production of ROCKWELL for hardware. At the same time, this subject perfectly expatiated on the developing course of this on-line monitoring system and the design of the function module and parameter configuration.The system studied in this paper is put into application with running steadily, which proved it to be designed correctly, hardware-dependable and software -fine function. It is obviously that good economic benefit is produced. This on-line monitoring and fault diagnosis system of high-temperature fan can be applied into other equipment, being worth extending broadly.
