The Study Of The Impact Of Internet Communication On University Library Information Services

In 1998, internet as the birth of new media, following the press, radio and television, called the "fourth medium". In recent years, with the prosperous development of internet technology, transmission mode of internet has experienced the development of Web1.0 to Web2.0. The development of internet communication, not only has brought about a revolution in the field of communication, but also has entered broadly into all fields of social life. It has a profound impact on people's work, study and life. Especially Internet communication technology has brought huge change to information dissemination activities, and has broken through in time and space, to realize the interaction of transmitting and receiving. Library as a national information resources guarantee center, especially university is forefront of the development of information and technology positions. University library has to pay high attention to the influences of Internet communication, and proposes the new ideas of library work.The paper analyzes the development patterns of internet communication, and based on the survey of nine university libraries on network information services in Dalian, analyzes the web-based service modes in these libraries, including basic information, information retrieval, information consultant, user training, interlibrary loan and document delivery service, network navigation, autobiography and push and interactive. And surveys subject navigation construction, free academic information resources, VOD, RSS in information push service. The fourth aspect of paper analyzes on the positive and restraining influences of internet communication on the university library. How to deal with the influences, the author gives some countermeasures, analyzes mainly information services based on Web2.0, such as Blog, Podcast, RSS, Wiki using in library services, and introduces and analyzes "The library scholars, weblog aggregation of the Xiamen university library", and trys putting forward the Web2.0 model in the library information services. The author hopes this paper can offer some reference function to university library.
