Investigation And Analysis Of The Enterprise Information Service Of University Library In China

Nowadays, with the rapid development of the information technology represented by computer and network, more and more enterprises have begun to realize that "information" is very critical and urgency for their development, in order to have a foothold in the era of social informatization level. However, the rapid development of anything is a double-edged sword, so it is with the social informatization, as well as it brings a lot of rich information resources also brings the "information explosion" with a large amount of redundant information. However, enterprises’ ability to access information is also limited, they will face a lot of problems, such as information processing ability is not high, lack of information resource development ability, lack of professional talents and so on. At this time, with the power of external information agencies must be the only solution. And it’s also a turning point for the libraries to get into the environment of information market.University library is not only the college’s teaching and research center, is also a social information service center, it have for the enterprise to provide high quality information advantages and conditions of the product.In recent years, University Libraries in China have opened to the society, but the services gives priority to the-basic literature borrows and science and technology novelty search. Only a handful of the University Library provides the enterprise with information services for a fee. The service status cannot meet the increasing enterprise information demand in the market. There is the need to fulfill the information duty of University Library. In the premise of normal use of the library by the school teachers and students, we should cope with the requirement of the times and walk out of the campus to serve enterprises. Also we should give full consideration to the enterprises’information demand and expand the service scopes and exploit the information services. At a crucial moment can not only help enterprise to make the right decisions and promote the healthy development of the enterprise, also can increase the utilization of information resources of university library, effectively avoid the waste of resources. Lastly, we can improve ability of library information collection and analysis, and update the service concept to improving the service quality.This article first summarizes the research in research status of domestic and foreign university library’s corporate information services. The second chapter mainly elaborates the general description of enterprise information service of the university library. Then the paper analyzes the present situation of enterprise information service of university library in China after visiting thirty-nine 985 university. The paper presents the opinions from four aspects:Construction of the information resources of enterprise in library, Enterprise information service main department, Enterprise information service content and Enterprise information service pattern. Then we select three representative university libraries as the subject investigated. After further research we get the conclusion that there are lots of problem in enterprise information service for university library in China. The fifth chapter, according to the results of the survey, we will analyze the problem of enterprise information service in university library in our country. At last we make some recommendations to enterprise information service of university library in China.
