Network Environment, The University Library Personalized Information Services Research

With the rapid development in computer technology and network technology, the user's individual information needs have become increasingly prominent. So the traditional university library information service model can no longer meet the user's individual information needs, and a collection of various resources to help the users to access the needs of individual information Service is a hard task university library needs to do in the network environment.The paper, based on the theory to explore the University Library personalized information services of network, summarizes the general of personalized information service. The paper conducts a survey of theoretical basis in a number of university library Web sites of personalized information services and finds out some problems, and puts forward countermeasures, and the results based on the analysis, under the guidance of the relevant theoretical concepts in the design of their own personalized information service system.This article is divided into the following six sections:The first part of the personalized information services, the background, the significance of carrying out the study, as well as the status quo at home and abroad to determine the research objectives and content of this article.The second part of the network environment, library services, personalized content and information on basic features, and an overview of the network of the University Library personalized information services,, content, features, services, content and basic forms.The third component is part of Shandong University Libraries Web site the application of personalized information services, status of investigation and analysis of some of the status of university library Web site in the investigation based on the functional characteristics of the comparison and analysis.The fourth part mainly based on results of the survey to identify the network environment of University Library in Personalized Information Service problems and, based on analysis of the problem-solving strategies put forward the corresponding.Fifth part is the network environment, personalized information service system design, analysis of the personalized information service system design requirements, design principles, and carried out personalized information service system modeling, which includes the design of the overall architecture and specific module design, the final design of personalized information service system characteristics were analyzed and summarized.PartⅥsummarizes the research work and one of the major shortcomings, and future library development is prospected. In this paper, the literature research and comparative analysis of web-based survey methods are used in the research process.
