The age of the Internet, great changes have taken place in the user’s information environment and information behavior, more and more users accustomed to using the network access to learning and research related information resources, the more popular in "information one-stop" integrated acquisition and service mode; at the same time collaborative learning is more and more popular among the students in universities, interactive, exchanges and cooperation has become an effective method of learning popular among students; the Internet on traditional university library service mode and information resource center position pose a challenge, the university library to improve the user’s appeal, must try to consider updating the traditional service mode, meet the new demands of customers.Learning commons(Learning Commons, hereinafter referred to as LC) as a new library building, service concept and practice, is emerge as the times require in this environment, it is in recent years the domestic and foreign library theory research and practice of hot, it successfully to meet the user’s demand for new users, the cultivation of information literacy, innovation the service mode of university library, reshape the position of University library information resource center, enhance the attractiveness of university library for users. The information communication is a key problem in LC, LC can realize basis functions and the concept of Information communication, to solve the problem well in LC, can better promote the realization of the LC function, to meet the needs of users, to enhance the user’s information literacy, this paper take the Information communication in LC starting point for research, analysis on the information communication mode in Universitys libraries LC, studies on construction of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics(hereinafter referred to as NUAA) library LC based on information communication theory and measures to promote the efficacy of University Library LC.This paper first summarizes the research status of LC at home and abroad; then analyzes and summarizes the theoretical foundation of LC; and then put forward information communication mode of University library in LC; then conducted a survey, LC user demand NUAA library from three aspects, including: the user on LC and service attitude, basic users of LC in the exchange of information channels demand situation and space, equipment and LC management survey. The combination of information in communication mode in University library LC and the user demand survey results, proposed the construction scheme of NUAA library LC based on information communication theory; finally proposed to promoting information communication of University library LC.
