Business Information Services Research Of The University Library

In recent years, with the continuous improvement of economic globalization and information technology, enterprises are facing fierce competition, more and more enterprises have realized the importance and necessity of information resources, and information has become the indispensable strategic resource in production, operation and management decisions, Product and technology R&D, expanding the market, face of competitors. The management and development of information resources causes more attention of enterprises, and become an integral part of the enterprise production management. However, in the complex and changing information environment, enterprises’ability to access information is also limited, So enterprises can not meet the demand for information relying solely on their own, they need the help of the external information services.University Library are an important base for schools and social information, they have lot of library resources and professionals that other information services don’t, also they have the advantage of conditions to provide information services for the enterprise. University Library must fulfill the need of their students and teachers in teaching and research, and then they expand the object and scope of services to provide information services for the enterprise also has a certain practical significance. First, it can promote the development of businesses and the local economy; Second it can improve the library information service capabilities, getting some fee, they will serve the teaching and research better. But, our university library business information services is still in an initial stage, there are still many issues and influencing factors hindered the development of business information services in China’s University Library, it needs enterprises, universities, libraries and government’s joint efforts to solve these problem.This article first summarizes the research in theory and practice of domestic and foreign university library’s corporate information services, University Library enterprise information service’s concepts and information types of services, as well as the content and features of the enterprise information needs. Then this article selects the national "211Project" university library’s website as the research object, accessing the library’s website to obtain the raw data, surveying the outside service objects of the University Library and types of information services for enterprises. According to the survey results, I select three of the University Library which have better information services, and introduce their basic overview and enterprise information service highlights, then summary the problems existing in the University Library business information services in China, as well as the impact of factors that impede corporate information services. Then this article use questionnaires to grasp the information needs of Enterprise, use factor analysis and correlation analysis to analyze factors of impacting enterprise information services to carry out, then take the main factors and analyze the links between them. Finally, this article provides several measures and recommendations to the problems and factors in our university library business information services.
