This research under the background of our country's rapid development of mass media and Internet media, take the college students in Shanghai,Wuhan and Xian as the research object, by sociology and communication theory, through the questionnaire investigation, interview and case study method combining literature, describes the current undergraduates ' differences in use,medium and evaluation of the status quo and the different sexes,regional,professional and phase differences between college media literacy, analyzes the existing problems and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.Text is divided into four parts.The first part is the review and comprehensive evaluation of related literature, and introduces the purpose of this study, the significance and the innovation, expounds the theoretical basis, the core concepts, ideas and research hypotheses and research methods.The second part describes the cognitive and media exposure condition assessment of undergraduates.Firstly, the media exposure levels, analyze college students by the time, class media contacts, and four aspects related to the content.Secondly, the medium level, analyze college students from cognitive development of media status and trends. In the media, on the status quo of the development of college students' main functions of media, the humanities, the news media entertainment professional spirit and the tendency of cognitive level analysis, in the media, the main trend in the development of college students' network media development trend and how to improve the traditional media should describe the cognitive level.Again, the medium level, describe and analyze mainly from the evaluation of college students, the phenomenon of excessive media advertisement of media credibility problem analysis, drop several aspects related to the evaluation.The third part, analyzes from gender, regional, professional and learning phase four aspects of the undergraduates, analyzes the different media contacts between groups, cognition and evaluation of the difference between the situations. Through the analysis of the college students, not only contact time,contact medium frequency and sex,regional category,professional and learning phase difference, but also closely related to the media of the undergraduates in cognitive and evaluation and some factors have strong correlation.The fourth part, on the basis of the quantitative and qualitative analysis, this paper summarizes the whole situation of media literacy and the main existing problems and insufficiency of college students, and put forward by strengthening the education to improve college media literacy of university students overall media literacy suggestions and countermeasures.
