The Study Of Media Literacy Education Of College Students

For the low level of media literacy education of college students, the ignorance of media literacy education in the higher education warns us to pay attention to the college students’media literacy. The media literacy education of college students is not only an important but also practical subject to study. Recently, as a new hot phenomenon, Internet mass hunting attracts general public attention, and some college students are particularly enthusiastic to participate in it. How ever, at the same time, many problems of media literacy reflected in the Internet mass hunting are greatly concerned.By using the method of documentary, experiment and comparison, from the aspects of the meaning, background, present situation, main content and problems, the theoretical analysis and study of the media literacy education of college students are carried out, in which some viewpoints and methods that can used for reference are found out, which put forward some suggestions and idea to the media literacy education of college students.There are four parts in the paper. In the first part, combined with the present phenomenon of Internet mass hunting, the media literacy education of college students is introduced; the meaning of study is analyzed; the present situation of study at home and abroad is summarized; the content and key points are introduced; based on that, the method of study is put forward. In the second part, the media literacy, the media literacy education and the college students’media literacy are illustrated. The third part explains the Internet mass hunting, and analyzes the present situation of the media literacy education for the college students and the reason for the lack of media literacy education of college students. The fourth part mainly explains the urgency for the media literacy education of college students, and put forward the basic ways to carry out the media literacy education of college students. Also the strategies of dissemination are proposed, which is the original point in the paper.
