| Media literacy and media education has been the research focus of China's education since 2000. Getting the theoretical and practical experience of various countries'media education, our scholars has got a large number of theories on media education. With the research getting deep, scholars have begun the attempt of utilizing the education theory into practice. They try to bring media literacy into the field of mother language education by crossing curriculum. It's a big opportunity for curriculum integration that the new course reform begun in 2003 requested news and biography elective courses to be offered. Based on the discussion of the content, target and nature of China's media education, I summed up the tendency for protectionist purposes of the China's media education, which guides the practice of media education. At the same time, I got the view of Training the news media literacy implied in the teaching materials by analysis of the part about"news"of the main version of the existing junior high school text books, the materials of high school elective "news reader and Practice" and "news reader and practice of teachers teaching the book". Then I got the The implementation and the feedback of the elective course through an interview of high school language teachers from several provinces and Put forward the idea of the "news reading and practicing " elective course's objectives, contents, methods, principles and the evaluation that the media education ponited to.I try to provide some theoretical basis and practical references to the establishment of the "news reading and practicing" elective course by writing this article. |
