The tools used in vibration test are numerous now, this paper presents a vibration testing tool based on the technology of virtual instrument, this testing tool is a computer, data acquisition cards and application software for one of the vibration test system the testing tools is data acquisition cards and application software for one of the vibration test systems, In this way, the computer's ability to rapidly process the data, the advantages of application software which can be easier for the secondary development are made full use of. This hardware part of the test system mainly includes the computer, the vibration sensor, the circuit of adjusting signal, the data acquisition card, and the software part mainly includes the driver program of acquisition card, the VI of controlling data acquisition, the program of creating database, the VI of accessing database, the VI of the time domain analysis program, and the VI of frequency domain analysis.The process of creating database in SQL language has been described, and this database contains certain data sheets according to actual need, there are serial number ID,the acquired data,the operating time,the operator name and other operation explanation information in the data sheet. The unit of sheet is able to hold several thousand test values. The technology based on ADO and the ODBC is selected in this design to access database, and under the environment of application software LabVIEW8.0, the program of access database is compiled.The processing to the signals, are mainly the off-line analysis, including Peak measurement and ORBIT, and so on.In the data acquisition process, the states of various channels are demonstrated, and sampling frequency and sampling points are adjustable, and the acquired signal is displaying in real time, so are the characteristic values of the signals.The panel of system is succinct; the technology of dynamic contact surface is used, and the VI frequently used is converted to a modular.The vibration test systems based on virtual instrument technology provided by this article, is used successful in the fault diagnosis such as imbalance and friction of rotor system.
