In the project, the vibration test and the signal analysis application is extremelywidespread, nearly all science and the project domain are involved. In modernengineering design, frequently taking use of testing signal processing and analysisanalyze the structure model’s dynamic characteristic make evaluations, thus providesthe scientific basis for engineering structure’s dynamic design and the improvementdesign. With the software technique and computer’s dynamic design and the virtualinstrument technology in the vibration signal test and analysis, already became a newdevelopment direction in the test and fault diagnosis domain.The paper has made the detailed introduction to the virtual instrument, thesystem design and experimental verification separately. In this system’s design, thesystem as a whole uses hardware system and software system. The hardware systemconsists of vibration sensors, including acceleration sensors and displacement sensors,data acquisition card NI9324and computer components. Among of them,theresponsibility of the vibration sensor is to transform the vibration signal into thestandard analog electrical signals, then A/D converter converts analog signal for thedigital signal by the data acquisition card and turn the digital signal into the computercache, and the computer to process the data in the cache. The Software systemmainly uses computer’s formidable function, take NI Corporation providingLabVIEW as development the platform adopts the modular programming, and fulfillsignal collection, signal transmission, signal display, signal storage and signal analysisand processing work.Finally, unite the system into the entire vibration signal test experiment,verification all system’s reliability and feasibility through experiment. Havingmeasured the simple beam natural frequency through the pulse hammer experiment,draw the mode of vibration, and obtain the damping ratio by the sine frequency sweepexperiment. Compare experimental values to theoretical values, the error is small,achieve the anticipated purpose.
