The paper discusses a signal processor of simulated signal source for imaging Radar. The simulated signal source can be used to detect a missile's radar performance. The traditional way is to amend the delay time, the signal amplitude, frequency, and phase to make radar signal, which usually only verify the quality of radar receiver. This simulated signal source which this issue belonged to, receive the Radar signals and do convolution then output to the radar receiver after be delayed. At last it reflects the quality of the Radar receiver and transmitter.This paper first discusses the general design requirements, including the functional requirements, timing, and the interface three parts. The functional requirements of the system reflect the basic principle, timing requirements specific process, and interface relationship allows the system design of more precise. On this basis, we get the overall system solution, that use FPGA for control of the core, DSP for operator of the core, integrating A / D and D / A module functions together to constitute a signal processing system.Secondly, the paper analyzes the circuit and the system parameters of every module. It also explains the FPGA and DSP software internal processes and resources planning. In addition, the paper discussed how to design the system vector ----- 6 layer printed circuit board.Finally, to test system performance, a set of practical testing program was made. The paper accurately recorded the test conditions, the measured data, and post-processing. After extensive testing has proven that the subject meets the overall requirements and specified performance standards, can be used in a SAR signal simulator as a signal processing components.
