Along with the implement of the "School-School Communication", the process of educational informationization in China has passed through the stage of the implementation of hardware project to the comprehensive application of software systems. Through the further application of the software systems, some problems in existing school resource banks have being gradually revealed, such as the low efficiency for utilization as well as the deviation on the ideas of resources development, which results in the not fulfillment of the functions of the resource banks in school education. The rise of knowledge management theory and the emergence and application of Web2.0 technology provide a new perspective and method for solving the existing problems in school resource banks.In view of above background, a research on "Designing and Application of School Resource Bank Based on Web2.0" has been launched. On the basis of literature research and an analysis of the research on school resource bank at home and abroad, this paper carried out the following areas of research:The first part is the research on the using of knowledge management theory and Web2.0 technology to design school resource bank system. In this part, on the one hand, starting from the knowledge management, through arranging the theories of knowledge management, especially the related theories of organizational memory, and analyzing the problems of the existing resource banks from the perspective of knowledge management, a model for forming school organizational memory has been proposed in order to provide a theoretical basis for the system design. On the other hand, arranging the development of Web2.0 technology, generalizing its characteristics and advantages, summarizing the application methods of Web2.0 technology in resource databases and the improvement in resource databases brought about by Webh2.0 technology, will provide technology preparation for the accomplishment of the system.The second part is the designing and accomplishing of the school resource bank in a support system for teacher professional development. Based on the model for forming school organizational memory, taking Web2.0 technology as the core, and with the practical work in school, an idea that the school resource bank should be a center of school knowledge has been suggested. Through the development of the support system for teacher professional development, the structure, functions and the ways of accomplishment of the school resource database system has been proposed.The third section is the analysis of the application effect of the system. As a core component in the support system for teacher professional development, the resource bank system proposed by this paper has been taken into practical tests in the experimental school. Based on the data recorded by the system and acquired from the survey, it is proved that the design thoughts and methods of the school resource bank system proposed by this paper are effective. Of course, there is still a need to improve some deficiencies.At last, there is a conclusion of the research and proposal on the direction of further research.
