Building Knowledge Management Platform And Case Study Based On Web2.0 For A Learning Organization

In an information age, all enterprises have to keep learning in order to stay prosperous, and the development of a learning organization is related to the information technology. With the case of Zhongtang Power Company in Dongguan City, this dissertation use the concept and technology of WEB2.0 to build a enterprise knowledge management platform. This platform may enhance the ability of a learning organization to share knowledge, to acquire knowledge, and to create new knowledge. It may be implemented by more medium-sized and small enterprises.The dissertation includes six chapters. The first chapter explains the difinition of learning organization and discusses the development of enterprise knowledge management system. This is the backgroud of the study. The second chapter explores why a learning organization can be combined with WEB2.0, then explains the using of several typical technologies of WEB2.0 in enterprise knowledge management.The third chapter is dedicated to describe the human resouce situation of Zhongtang Power Company which I work for. It is trying to become a learning organization and has a demand of a Enterprise Knowledge Management Platform based on WEB2.0.In the following two chapters, the dissertation comes up with the design of the knowledge management platform based on WEB2.0, and discusses the key function modules of the platform. Then, it introduces the development process of the platform and the implementation of key function modules.In the end, the disstation tries to discuss how Zhongtang Power Company will use the platform.
