Organizational Knowledge Sharing Mechanism In Web2.0 Network

Because of its emphasis on user participation, interaction and other characteristics,Web2.0 which is new generation model of the Internet, such as Blog, Wiki, IM and other technology rise rapidly. It greatly facilitated sharing and exchanges the knowledge and information through the Internet. Exchange of information technology based on Web2.0 is gradually changing the behavior patterns of information exchange between individuals, contact and sharing of knowledge, As the use of this technology, it is developing from the personal use to the organization commercial activities.In this study, we review the literature, to describe the concept of Web2.0 environmental characteristics in organization, knowledge sharing mechanisms and the performance of the knowledge sharing. Then we take those who are used in tasks Web2.0 or in Web2.0 environment as the main knowledge sharing study of our proposed and draw The following conclusions:(1) Summarizing and sorting out the characteristics of Web2.0 environment and with an empirical study on the Web2.0 environment. This study is based media theory, cognitive theory, motivation theory and knowledge of accessibility and other relevant literature, concludes with the three properties which is information-rich environment Web2.0, interaction and accessibility; That is to say in the Web2.0 environment, knowledge sharing can load more abundant types of information content, allowing transmission of information in the Web2.0 environment ideas can fully express their views, so that the information content of information received by the receiver and transmitters the content of the message to both reduce the gap between them. In addition, when individuals have encountered a problem who have not enough knowledge to solve the problem, the use of external search in Web2.0 environment can more easily and with the knowledge they need to contact the owner of knowledge and obtain the required knowledge. Three environmental features can improve the motivation of knowledge sharing and reduce the existing knowledge sharing between the individual constraints, thus enhancing organizational members share knowledge with each other's performance.(2) To have a deeper understanding of the mechanism and laws of knowledge sharing under Web2.0 environment.Based on the summary of the 3 characteristics of Web2.0 environment's influence on individual knowledge sharing,the study analyzed what infuluence the characteristics have on the mechanism of knowledge sharing among an organisation and the direct and indirect influence relationship of knowledge sharing performance among the individuals through a questionnaire validation. Direct impact mainly lies in the information abundance of the Web2.0 environment and the enhance of the efficiency and accuracy of transferring knowledge among the members in the organisation. And the indirect infuluence mainly refers to the promoting of understanding and expression abilities of the knowledge transferring content and the performance of the individual knowledge sharing by means of improving both the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation of knowledge sharing and lowering the 3 limiting factors of time, spatial and social barrers in knowledge sharing.(3) To have a deeper understanding of the role and influence which knowledge sharing has under Web2.0 environment. By analyzing the results of the study,we can find that the effect of enhancing individual knowledge sharing and the interpretation ability about its variation is limited.For example,only by setting up the relevant information technology environment is not enough to influence the performance of knowledge sharing among the members inside the organization.(4)Via analyzing the system mechanism,bulding the Web2.0 environment may improve the influence on knowledge sharing performence inside the organization.The result of the study shows that the influence the Web2.0 environment has on the individual knowledge sharing can ben divided into direct and indirect. When it comes to the indirect influence,the result of the study shows that the Web2.0 environment can improve the mechanism and needs of knowledge sharing and effectively lowering the influence of the limiting factors of knowledge sharing.But it can also be interfered by the factors which have not been taken into consideration or controlled by the arising intermediaries, making the effect of reducing barriers to knowledge sharing can not function effectively in the knowledge sharing performance.Not being able to significantly enhance the performance of individual knowledge sharing makes the indirect influence that the Web2.0 environment has on individual knowledge sharing blocked and cannot effectively and full function. So when building a relevant technology environment,the influence coming from environment and members within the organization on the information environment factors should also be taken into consideration and to make appropriate adjustments as well.Thus the effect of the information environment can function to its fullest.
